Dr. Eugene Dalla Lana grew up in Edmonton, Alberta in a family of 5 boys. Dr. Dalla Lana (or Dr. Gene for the kids) attended the University of Alberta and received his B.SC. (with distinction) in 1978. He then went on to receive his dental education at the University of Alberta and graduated in 1982 with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After graduation he was 1 of 2 Dentists selected to do advanced training as a Resident at the University of Alberta Hospitals.

In 1984 Dr. Dalla Lana moved to Calgary to practice Dentistry. After working as an associate for 2 years he purchased the practice of Dr. Anthony Taylor. From that location on 11th Avenue he has had the opportunity to experience 2 different locations for the dental office. This background has allowed Dr. Dalla Lana and his team to help refine and design the fabulous new office, The Village Dental Centre, in the heart of the Beltline area. The Village Dental Team has been very fortunate to have had the long term loyalty of so many clients who have followed them over the years. They have seen many generations of families with clients ranging in age from less than a year to 2 ladies who are 96 years young.

Dr. Dalla Lana is a firm believer in life long dental education and continues to spend numerous hours at dental courses around the world to be able to offer an expanded range of services for his clients. Most recently this involved Botox Therapy for Head and Neck Pain and Facial Aesthetics. The advancements in Dentistry continue to flame the passion and zeal he feels in your dental care. In addition, Dr. Dalla Lana has been involved in organized Dentistry locally, provincially and internationally in governance and guidance. Dr. Dalla Lana has been honoured to receive a number of Fellowships over the years and is a member of many dental organizations.

Dr. Dalla Lana is married to Michelle and is the proud father of 2 grown boys and twin toddler girls who were born in the midst of a massive snow storm in September 2014.
