Front Desk

Wanda, Office Manager

Wanda will immediately make you feel like family, because she loves connecting with new clients and the ones that she has known for over 25 years. In addition to her love for travel (she went to Australia and New Zealand by herself), she also created a cookbook in memory of her mother who was an amazing cook.

Wanda graduated in 1980 from Holland College dental assisting program in PEI. Her first role was as a dental assistant, then she transitioned to reception, and has been part of the team for over 30 years.

Shirley, Front Desk

You’d probably never guess, but Shirley was the first female bus driver in Toronto since World War II (how cool is that!). She’s also quite the folk art painter.

Shirley has worked in the dental field since 1976, and took 10 years off to raise her two children.

Jamaica, Front Desk & Dental Assistant

Jamaica is quite the adventurer, and her coolest experience was caving/spelunking (you’ll have to ask her more about that).

She loves being a part of helping people change their life, confidence level and self-esteem through their smile; that’s why she’s been in the dental industry for over 12 years.

Our Clinical Team

Denise, Dental Hygienist

Denise has a great story; 30 years ago she met her husband on a blind date, and she knew he was the man she would marry within seconds of meeting him.

She loves spurring people on to attain comprehensive health starting with their dental health. One of her best memories was the time she was able to inform a 70 year old patient that it was never too late to have orthodontics, and will always remember her ecstatic smile when her braces were removed.

Denise graduated from Shoreline Community College in Seattle, WA in 1978, bringing a rich background of experience to the team.

Kristen, Dental Hygienist

One of Kristen’s proudest experiences was competing for the New England Chowder cup on the Atlantic Women’s hockey team.

For Kristen, there’s nothing that makes her feel more appreciated than when a patient requests her by name, because it let’s her know she’s done a good job.

Kristen has been a dental hygienist for one year and graduated from Oulton College in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Clare, Dental Hygienist

Clare has been practicing dental hygiene for twenty one years in BC and Alberta, and is certified in local anesthetic and periodontal laser therapies.

Her family includes her husband Allan and her two teenage daughters, Emma and Cristina. She enjoys most outdoor activities, watching hockey, traveling, and relaxing.

Carol, Sterilization Technician

Carol believes in following your dreams. She followed hers and had the most amazing experience traveling across North America and back through Canada for a summer. Her next dream? Attending art college.

Carol attended SAIT for her training and has been doing sterilization for four years.

Linda, Registered Dental Assistant

Linda is very proud of raising her two sons to be exceptional men. She’s very health oriented, and it shows through her interest of holistic therapies such as massage, reiki, energy psychology, etc.

Her love for Dental Assisting is made even better by the knowledge that we are also “healing others”.

Linda attended SAIT for dental assisting and graduated in 1973

Shelley, Registered Dental Assistant

One of Shelley’s coolest experiences was to complete the Hawaiian marathon.

She always love seeing the impact a smile makeover can have on someone’s life. For her, it’s a great feeling knowing she’s are providing excellent care to every patient.

Shelley has a wealth of experience with over 25 years experience as an RDA.

Kim, Registered Dental Assistant

Not being one to shy away from experiences of a lifetime, Kim once swam with stingrays in the Caribbean.

She loves seeing people smile, because when they are confident about their smile it warms the room. Seeing people walk out of the office beaming makes her job the most rewarding.

With 26 years as a RDA, Kim brings a wealth of experience to her position. She took her training at SAIT.
