Welcome new patients! Here is some important info about your first appointment and our office policies.

About your first appointment

At your first appointment, we’ll perform a complete dental examination and take x-rays of your mouth. This gives us the information we need to give you a comprehensive report on your dental health and any treatment options. Then we can discuss how you’d like to proceed.

Please arrive a few minutes early for your appointment so you can fill out our intake forms. To make the process easier, please bring your medical information, including your family doctor’s name, list of medications, allergies, and medical conditions, and your dental insurance information.

Financial policy

When treatment is needed we’ll provide you with an estimate that includes your treatment options and priorities so you can make an informed decision about your treatment. If necessary we can work with you to make financial arrangements to help you with your budget.

Insurance

We can submit your insurance claims electronically when possible, so you’ll get your reimbursement quickly. If the claim can’t be sent electronically we’ll send it by courier. We can get confirmation of coverage from your insurer prior to beginning a treatment. That way we can bill your insurer for the covered amount and you pay only the difference.

For seniors we claim directly to your insurer and bill you the remaining balance. We provide a 10% discount for seniors.

Please note that you are responsible for the full amount of your treatment, including any amounts not covered by insurance.
